Located in a quiet area on the banks of the river close to the Mingalazedi and Agatehpayagyi Pagodas and offering wonderful views of the Irrawaddy River. The resort is set over a large area within well manicured grounds but may not be suitable for those who have difficulty walking distances. Pleasant pool area located within a large lawn with recliners and umbrellas. The accommodation is adequate rather than luxury and here you are paying a premium for the very scenic open spaces plus extensive public areas.

Offering well-sized rooms which are tastefully furnished with soft furnishings and modern appliances. The wonderful Spices Garden restaurant serves great food, both local and international fare, in an airy tropical garden setting. The friendly and helpfully staff always willing to please and seem genuinely concerned that your stay is as pleasant as possible. Great value for money and highly recommended.

Recently constructed hotel located in New Bagan featuring 82 rooms and 3 suites with an impressive swimming pool as the centre point. The rooms have the feeling of a safari lodge and are very spacious at fifty square metres, well furnished with hardwood floors, natural furnishings. The en suite bathrooms are also large with great showers. Professional staff are friendly and competent.

The newly-built hotel has been well designed with the roof-terrace and swimming pool area standing out as superb locations to spend a bit of down time. Located at the end of an impressive tree-lined drive and next to the eighteen-hole golf course in a quiet part of Bagan between the airport and the historic city. The resort has charm and character although it could do with some updating especially in the bathrooms. Pleasant swimming pool area and gardens for cooling off after spending the day touring the sites. The staff are friendly and competent although not highly energised.

Located on the banks of the Irrawaddy River in the heart of Old Bagan close to may of the main sites including the Ananda Temple and the Shwesandaw Pagoda. The river views are spectacular and worth paying a little extra for. The gardens and swimming pool area, which has a separate jacuzzi pool, are very attractive and well kept with lots of tropical plants. The rooms feature a lot of wood panelling as well as wooden floors but otherwise are a little sparse and have old appliances. That said the outside areas make the difference. The staff are friendly, eager and always smiling.

The resort was initially built in 1950 but underwent a renovation in 2012 to update the rooms and services. Offering a variety of accommodation options for different budgets the rooms heavily feature wood and natural colours. The large outside spaces include well manicured gardens, lots of tropical plants and a pleasant if not overly large swimming pool. Good restaurant serving tasty and good value local plus international food in an uncramped and airy enviroment.

Large resort located in Old Bagan next to the Gawdawpalin Temple and the Archaeological Museum on the banks of the Irrawaddy River with large gardens containing two temples running down to the river. The swimming pool area has mature trees surrounding it which make it a pleasant place to relax. The rooms are presented in an 11th Century-style and heavily feature wood decor which makes the smaller rooms feel quite dark although the larger suites are more pleasant. The outdoor restaurant has amazing views over the river and the food is generally of a good standard.

Located in New Bagan this hotel has a large garden with many tropical plants and an eye-pleasing temple. The rooms, as in many Bagan hotels, feature a lot of wood making them feel rather smaller than they actually are. Food from the kitchen is mainly served in the garden although there is also a covered area when it is required. The pool is surounded by trees and plants making it a pleasant place to spend some time especially on a hot day due to there being lots of shade.
